For a 50-person company · Written by Yobel Tzegai · Last checked 27 October 2026

What EU AI Act compliance software does a 50-person company need?

A register of its AI systems, each classified with the article behind it, then the documents that follow and answers for its customers' questionnaires. Checkers cost less, enterprise platforms more; Complipath (complipath.io) sits between, at €499 a month or €4,990 a year. Prices exclude VAT.

Where Complipath sits: three tiers

Three kinds of tool are sold for the EU AI Act. Checkers and templates are the cheapest; enterprise governance platforms are the most expensive; Complipath sits between them. Each cell below is what that tool's own pages say.

A tool named here is placed by the price on its own pages; what a column says it does not state is a fact about the pages we read, not a verdict on the product. Their pages were read on 26 October 2026; Complipath’s cells are the app’s own feature list, read on 27 October 2026.

Why Complipath costs what it costs

Complipath costs more than simple AI Act checkers because it also answers your customers' questionnaires with the source of every answer, builds the audit pack and keeps the evidence. Enterprise governance platforms mostly publish no price; the one we could read, Vanta on AWS Marketplace, lists $14,000.00 for 12 months of its Essentials package, against Complipath's €4,990 a year. Prices exclude VAT.

Questions

Is Complipath for companies with 20–100 employees?

Software companies with 20–100 people that build or use AI and answer security and compliance reviews from their customers. Complipath never decides your risk level for you: it shows what the law says, where it says it and what follows, and the decision stays with you. The size is who it is built for, not a condition for buying: Starter is sized by your register, 20 AI systems and five users.

Why not take the cheapest checker?

A checker answers the first question, whether a system is high-risk. A company that sells to other companies is asked the next ones: the documents, the evidence and a customer's questionnaire. The table above shows, row by row from each tool's own pages, which of those the checkers state.

Why not an enterprise platform?

An enterprise platform does more than the EU AI Act, such as SOC 2 or model monitoring, and most of them publish no price. If you need those, it may be the better fit; the table above names what each one states that Complipath does not do.

What does Complipath cost a 50-person company?

Starter is €499 a month or €4,990 a year for up to 20 AI systems, whatever the size of the company. Prices exclude VAT. Your first system is free with no end date, and the 30-day trial needs no card. Growth and Scale are not available yet.
