Customer audits · Written by Yobel Tzegai · Last checked 3 November 2026
A customer audit is your customer checking that what you told them holds: they ask for the proof behind your answers. In Complipath (complipath.io) the proof already sits in one record, so the audit starts from what you have confirmed, and every answer carries its source and the person who confirmed it.
What it is for: when an enterprise customer's review asks about your AI, the answers are ready, each with its source, so the review need not hold up the deal.

Make every answer you have already given traceable to a record before the customer asks. A customer's audit checks that what you told the customer holds, and its scope comes from the audit clause in your contract, not from the Act.
Which evidence, for each answer:
Articles 13 and 19 apply from 2 December 2027 for a system high-risk under Annex III and from 2 August 2028 for AI systems classified as high-risk pursuant to Article 6(1) and Annex I (Article 113, third paragraph, point (c), as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 (the Digital Omnibus on AI)), and not to high-risk AI systems related to products under Section B of Annex I (Article 2(2), as replaced).

No. A questionnaire asks what you do; an audit checks that the answers hold and asks for the proof. In Complipath both start from the same record, so the answer you gave in the questionnaire is the one the audit checks, with its source and the person who confirmed it.
The audit room, the audit report in PDF and Word, the audit pack and the answer library are on Starter and up. The shared room with the customer, the gap plan from a customer's requirements and the Trust Center are on Growth and up. The Free plan is for one AI system and one user.
No, and nobody honest can: the customer decides. Complipath makes the proof ready before they ask, every answer with its source, who confirmed it and when, and every open requirement named on your plan, so you see what is missing before the customer does.
Often. Complipath answers security questions on 17 common topics from what you have confirmed, or names the file that answers them, such as the penetration test report; anything else is marked Needs your answer. GDPR questions are answered from your confirmed data answers and the GDPR basics recorded for each system.
