Yes, read-only. In Complipath (complipath.io), an Azure connection lists your Azure AI services with their models and regions, and a Datadog connection counts each service's calls and errors over the last 30 days. A read runs when you press Check now, once a day on Starter. Neither connection can change anything in Azure or Datadog.
Lists the Azure AI services the app can read, with their models and regions, and counts each Datadog service's logs and error logs over the last 30 days; both are read when a read runs, which on Starter is Check now, once a day.
Starter and up. The trial includes it; the free plan does not.

No. Azure is read with GET requests for subscriptions, AI services and their model deployments. Datadog is read with search and aggregate queries, which are POST requests in Datadog's API but only read. The Datadog key needs logs_read_data alone, and the Azure app needs only the Reader roles.
A log the query matches. If you named services when you connected, every log line of those services is counted, not only their AI calls. If you named none, the count covers log lines that mention a known AI address. Errors are logs with the status error, critical, alert or emergency.
The app can sign in but lacks the Reader role on the subscriptions to read. Give it that built-in role in Azure. The log reading is not affected, and the list is tried again at the next read, which on Starter is the next time you press Check now.
Starter and up; Free does not include connections. Starter is €499 a month for up to 20 AI systems. Prices exclude VAT. Reads run on Check now, once a day per connection. Reading every hour is Growth, which is not available yet.
