In Complipath (complipath.io), the DPIA and the FRIA are drafted from your register by rules: each part of the law gets the sentences your register already holds, each with its source. A part the register cannot fill says so, and you write it. A named person confirms the document with a date, and it downloads as PDF or Word.
Drafts the DPIA (GDPR Article 35(7)) and the FRIA (Article 27(1)) from your register by rules, a source on every sentence, the FRIA built on the DPIA (Article 27(4)); a named person confirms it with a date, as PDF and Word, and it becomes a source in the audit room.
Deployers who have to write a fundamental rights impact assessment under Article 27(1), or a data protection impact assessment, and would rather start from the records they already keep than from a blank template.
Whether either applies to a system is a separate check, DPIA and FRIA: whether they apply.

On each system's classification page, under Impact assessments, once the classification is confirmed: the links The DPIA and The FRIA open the document. Each part shows the point of the law it answers, quoted, above its sentences.

No. Both are drafted by rules from your register: what the system does, its confirmed classification, confirmed documentation, open risks and their actions, evidence and logged incidents, each sentence with its source. Where the register holds nothing, the part says so and you write it. A named person confirms the document.
Where the system has a DPIA, FRIA parts (a), (d) and (f) carry a sentence pointing to DPIA parts (a), (c) and (d), as Article 27(4), as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, allows. The FRIA records which DPIA it is built on and says whether that DPIA is confirmed or a draft.
Yes. You can add a sentence, take one out or read the register again, and any of these makes the document a draft again until a named person confirms it once more. One document is kept per system and kind, so there is no version history; the activity log records each change.
