Can Complipath prepare the compliance work and leave me only the decisions?

What it does

• Prepare everything runs eleven steps one at a time from your browser, with each step's status and one line about what it found.
• Nine steps are rules: the Annex I question, owners, unlinked files, vendors, risk suggestions, the AI literacy record, unanswered audit questions, dates ahead and a search for unregistered systems.
• Two steps use AI: suggested answers for up to ten unassessed systems with at least 20 characters on what they do, and documentation drafts for up to three confirmed high-risk systems that still have an empty section.
• With AI turned off for the workspace, the two AI steps say they were skipped and the nine rule steps run.
• The steps run while the page is open. Stop takes effect between steps, and Resume goes on from the first step not yet run.
• Review lists everything waiting for a person, in groups, each row marked "Rules" or "AI draft", with Confirm, Change and Skip, and "Confirm all" where a group has more than one row that can be confirmed.
• A system classified as prohibited comes first, with "Stop using it", "Ask for legal review" and "Contest the classification" in place of Skip.
• A decision is held for ten seconds with Undo before anything is written. Each one is logged with who made it and when.
• Review this system checks one system: requirements with no evidence or owner, files past their end date, no owner, an unconfirmed classification, an Article 6(3) claim, an amended provision, and, with AI on, contradictions between your own texts, each quoted word for word.

Who it is for

A compliance lead or CTO with systems already registered, who wants the open work gathered in one list and decides each item personally.

How you use it, step by step

• Open Review in the sidebar and press "Prepare everything".
• Watch the steps finish. Press Stop if you need to, and Resume later.
• Work through the groups: Confirm a row, follow Change to where it is decided, or Skip it. A skipped row comes back when the facts behind it change.
• Press Undo within ten seconds if you pressed the wrong button.
• For one system, open its classification page and choose "Review this system".

Which plan

Every plan, the free one included: none of the three pages checks the plan.

On Free, two kinds of row lead to pages that are Starter and the trial: answering the Annex I question, and the AI literacy record.

The AI steps, and the comparison on a system's review page, count against a monthly limit of AI runs set per plan. The panel shows how many are used.

Where it sits in the law

• The Annex I step asks the question in Article 6(1): whether the system is, or is a safety component of, a product under the laws listed in Annex I that needs a third-party conformity assessment.
• Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 inserted paragraphs 1a and 1b on what counts as a safety component, and 1c on a conformity assessment required only for risks other than health and safety. The step only asks: answers are recorded on Starter and the trial.
• The documentation step drafts the technical documentation Article 11(1) requires for a high-risk system. Its second subparagraph, as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, asks for at least the Annex IV elements; SMEs and SMCs may use a simplified form the Commission is to establish.
• The literacy step checks whether your AI literacy record has anyone in it. Article 4, as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, asks providers and deployers to take measures supporting the AI literacy of staff and others operating or using AI systems on their behalf.
• Article 4(1), as replaced, does not require providers or deployers to guarantee any specific level of AI literacy of any individual. The step does not measure one either.

What it does not do

• It does not rerun only what changed. Each step compares a fingerprint of your systems' fields and today's date: a new day reruns every step, and the same day can skip a step whose files, audits or risks changed.
• The suggested classification answers are not shown anywhere yet. The step stores them, the assessment page does not read them, and confirming that row in Review fails. Use "Suggest answers" on the assessment page instead.
• Rows for unlinked files cannot be completed from the list: "Link it" answers "Open it to choose where the file belongs."
• "Add to my register", "Open the audit", "Noted" on law rows and Confirm on Annex I and literacy rows only record that you saw the row. They add no system and answer no question.
• It is not yet established that "Add to Risks" in Review saves the risk. Until that is measured, record risks on the Risks page.
• The search for unregistered systems reads only a connection source the app keeps switched off by default. It does not read intake-link reports or dependency files.
• Review this system does not read your assessment answers. It compares what the system does, its documentation and passages quoted from its files.
• With AI off, or when the comparison cannot run, it shows no contradictions and counts "Answers agree with each other" as passed, without saying the texts were not compared. Only the daily limit gets a line.

Review is in the sidebar under Overview, and Prepare everything is the panel at the top of it. "Review this system" is a link on each system's classification page.
