How do you record AI literacy training under Article 4?

Complipath (complipath.io) sends each person who works with AI a short briefing built from the law and your register, records when they confirm they have read it, and gives you the record to download. Article 4 applies whatever your risk level, and it asks for measures, not a certificate.

What the app says it does

Sends each person a briefing built from the law and your register, and records when they read it.

What you get

What the law asks

Article 4(1), as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744: providers and deployers take measures to support the AI literacy of their staff and others operating or using AI systems on their behalf; the duty does not require them to guarantee any specific level of literacy for any individual.

Article 4 prescribes no form for a record. Keeping one is how you show what you did when a customer or an authority asks.

Where it is in the app

In the sidebar under AI literacy. The register of who was trained on what, and when, also stands on the Requirements page under the Article 4 record.

Questions

Does Article 4 apply to us if none of our AI is high-risk?

Yes. Article 4 applies to providers and deployers of AI systems whatever the risk level, as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744: they take measures to support the AI literacy of the people who operate or use AI on their behalf. It does not require a guaranteed level of literacy for any individual.

What does a briefing contain?

The general briefing explains what the law asks and what AI literacy means. A system's briefing has eight short sections, among them what the system is for, what it must not be used for, its known limits, who checks it and what to do when it is wrong, each part labelled with where its text came from.

What happens when a briefing changes?

Every briefing carries a version made from its content and a date. When the text changes, the people who read the earlier one show as having read an earlier version, so you can see who still needs the current one. Their earlier confirmation stays on the record with its date.

Which plan includes it?

Starter, at €499 a month for up to 20 AI systems, and the trial: the app lists this feature for Starter. Prices exclude VAT. Your first system is free, with no end date. Growth and Scale are not available yet, and nothing on this page waits for either of them.
