How do we give each role its own AI literacy training under Article 4?

In Complipath (complipath.io), each person on your AI literacy list gets one of five paths: all employees, developers, HR, sales and support, or management. A path is what that person should read: the law, a short lesson for their role with a three-question check, a briefing for each AI system they work with, and your AI policy. Each reading is recorded when the person confirms it.

What it does today, and its limits

Each person on the AI literacy list can be given one of five paths: all employees, developers, HR, sales and support, or management. A path is what that person should read: the law, a short lesson for the role that ends in a three-question check, a briefing for each AI system they work with, and the company's AI policy once one is saved. A reading is recorded when the person confirms it, and the record is kept per person.

Questions

Does Article 4 require each employee to reach a set level of AI literacy?

No. Article 4(1), as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, asks providers and deployers to take measures to support the development of AI literacy, and adds that the obligation does not require them to guarantee any specific level of AI literacy of any individual. A recorded reading is a measure, not a level.

What does the check at the end of a lesson do?

Each role lesson ends with three questions about the lesson. When the person presses the button the answers are marked: if every answer is right the reading is recorded; if not, nothing is recorded and the person can read the lesson again and retry. It is not a score.

What happens when a lesson or the policy changes?

Each lesson and your AI policy carries a version made from its words. When the text changes, the people who read the earlier one show as having read an earlier version, so you can send the new one. Their earlier reading stays on the record with its date.
