Can we answer "where is our customers' data kept?" once for every audit?

In Complipath (complipath.io), you answer once the data questions customers always ask: where their data is stored, how long it is kept, whether it trains AI models, who owns it and whether it is shared with other customers. Every customer audit then starts from those answers, for all systems or for one.

What it does

Holds five answers: where customer data is stored, how long it is kept, whether it trains AI models, who owns it and whether it is shared with your other customers.
You answer once for all systems and give one system its own answers where it differs. A field left empty on a system falls back to the all-systems answer.
When a customer audit asks one of these questions, the answer is written from your fields, for example “No. Customer data is not used to train AI models.”, and offered for you to confirm.
For an audit that covers several systems, one sentence stands when they agree. Where they differ, you get one line for each group of systems that agree.
An answer given in an audit, by a choice or as text for where and how long, fills the matching all-systems field, but only while that field is empty.

What it does not do

It checks nothing. The answers are what you entered; Complipath does not compare them with your systems, vendors or contracts.
If any system in an audit has no answer to a question, no answer is proposed from here: a gap, not a guess.
It covers these topics only. A question about something else, such as encryption or backups, gets no answer from data answers.
A question already confirmed in an audit does not change when you edit your data answers. Open questions read them as they stand.
Where stored and how long are text, up to 200 characters each. The other three are choices.

Which plan

Starter and up, the trial included. In the app, customer audits are a Growth feature, included in Starter until Growth launches. On Free the page says audits are part of Starter.

Where it sits in the law

It is not an EU AI Act duty. It holds the answers you choose to give customers about their data.
It does not check them, and it is not a record of your processing. A person confirms each answer an audit uses.

Questions

Which questions do data answers cover?

Five answers: where customer data is stored, how long it is kept, whether it trains AI models, who owns it and whether it is shared with your other customers. The first two are text, up to 200 characters each; the other three are choices. Questions on other topics get no answer from here.

Can one system answer differently?

Yes. Set answers for all systems, then give a system its own where it differs. Fields left empty on the system fall back to the all-systems answer. If an audit covers systems that answer differently, the proposed answer has one line for each group that agree; if any system has no answer, none is proposed.

Does an AI model write the answers?

No. Each sentence is written from the fields you filled in, by fixed rules and offered for you to confirm. Nothing is guessed: where a field is empty, or a system has no answer, the question stays open. Complipath does not check the answers against your systems.

Which plan includes it?

Starter, at €499 a month for up to 20 AI systems, and the trial. Prices exclude VAT. In the app, customer audits are a Growth feature, included in Starter until Growth launches: Growth is not available yet, so Starter is the plan to buy.
